1. Service status
Fokato is currently in pre-launch development. Accounts, payments, and private processing become available only after the production integrations are configured and the final legal documents are published.
2. Photographs and privacy
Photos selected in the public Studio demo remain in the browser. The private production flow uses Cloudflare R2 storage: originals are removed after successful processing, temporary originals expire after one day as a fallback, and JPG outputs expire after two days. Image metadata, including GPS data, is removed during conversion.
3. Accounts, contact, and anti-abuse services
Supabase stores account identity and service records. Contact form details are sent through Resend so the Fokato team can reply. Cloudflare Turnstile receives technical request data to protect authentication, forms, and uploads from automated abuse.
4. Analytics choices
Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics is loaded only after consent. A declined choice is stored locally in the browser and analytics storage remains disabled.
5. Generated results
AI-generated imagery can contain errors and unexpected changes. Users should review every result, especially when restoring historically or personally important images.
6. Payments and credits
Credit packs are one-time USD payments processed by Stripe. One successful full-resolution result uses one credit; a failed processing attempt is refunded automatically. Final refund, credit-expiry, tax, and jurisdiction terms must be reviewed before live payments are enabled.
